I am a fairly recent graduate of the MLIS program at San Jose State University, and am currently employed full-time as Technology Coordinator at the Califa Library Group in San Mateo. I was also recently employed at De Anza Community College as a reference librarian, and at San Mateo County Library as a cataloging and public services librarian.

While at SJSU, I was the recipient of ARL's Initiative to Recruit a Diverse Workforce stipend for the years 2004-2006. I am also a member of Beta Phi Mu, the library and information studies honor society. My studies at SJSU included Reference, Collection Management, XHTML and XML programming, Archives and Manuscripts, Online Searching, and Cataloging.

In 1991, I received a BA in Art History from the University of California, Berkeley. Since then, I have worked as a production assistant for a music magazine, HTML programmer, freelance graphic and web designer, bar manager, and librarian. I am interested in photography, music, film and crafts.
